Day Thirty-One

It was a dreary day today. Wok up to rain, it cleared for a little while, and then another storm rolled through. So I have a few pictures of that.

Also, I picked today's theme for the group and it is "The Hero in Your Life." I actually have two hero's. My husband and my dad. I don't think I would be where I am in my life if I didn't have either of these men in it! I love them with all my heart and I am so lucky to have them in my life!

These pictures are from March 2010 when we went down to South Carolina to visit dad's side of the family!

I have had a very busy day today!!!

Day Twenty-Nine

We had a very fun day today! Most of it included just laying around in our pj's enjoying each others company. Then this evening we went over to a friend's house who we had not seen in a while and talked and ate pizza, played a few games and watched a movie. Well when we got there earlier in the evening Alex and our friend Kyle were walking outside and they found a snake skin! Kyle was telling us how they have snake living around the house. I thought it was so cool, so that is my picture for today!

Day Twenty-Eight

A normal day in our lives :)

My poor Bubba! He hasn't seemed himself all day. Which I guess I don't blame him, but I just wish he was happier!

Day Twenty-Seven

So my boys Chester and Harvey got neutered today! I miss them like crazy and I can't wait to bring them home tomorrow! So today's picture is dedicated to them <3

I was actually updated my blog a couple days ago when Harvey jumped up on the couch and laid on me and then Chester decided to come up and join us :) I told Alex to grab the camera and take a picture of me with them! Harvey did have is one paw around Chester, but moved when Alex got closer with the camera.

Day Twenty-Three

Had a pretty good day today. I was going to go along with the theme for today, but I didn't think that you all wanted to see my piles of laundry! Hahaha!!! So I took a picture of the agates I found at work. I am pretty proud of myself, they are pretty good ones!

Day Twenty-Two

Today was another busy day! We slept in (which was SOOO nice!) and then we ran a few errands. Came back home, cuddled on the couch and watched a movie, then ran to the mall to check and see if my ring came back yet; and we ended up leaving with a 50" TV! GAH!!! Hahaha!!! We were naughty... Oh well. Whats life if you can't enjoy it?! We also got a blue-ray player. And then we went to pick up Alex's moped. Finally got that paid off with his last check. Then we ran to Walmart and got some groceries and bought Dear John and The Hangover! Great day :)

This is a book that Alex's aunt gave to me. I am looking forward to starting it!

Day Twenty-One

Such a busy fun day!!!! The Mall of America was awesome!!! We walked all three floors of shopping (several times!) and we "shopped tell we dropped" per say! We ate dinner at the Rainforest Cafe , and although its expensive, its very good and a cool place to eat! We also did an awesome mirror maze! Alex got a fog machine! Bahaha! And his cousin Luke got a laser light thing. So they put them in the upstairs room and played around and it fogged up the whole house!!! Then after they had their fun we went and watched Vampires Suck. Very funny!!!! Well anyways, here are some of the day's pictures!

Day Twenty

There is a big truck show going on at our local mall. It was a lot of fun to walk around and look at all of the beautiful semi's!!!

The light show at dusk was very cool! I went to a hill close by and took this picture looking down at the show. This is only a third of the beautiful lighted trucks!

Day Nineteen

Motion. Its a fundamental part of life. Everything moves; everyone moves forward. I have been thinking a lot about the future lately; how far we have come and how we need to keep pushing through. So I thought this picture was very fitting.

Day Eighteen

Had so much fun tonight!!!! Had some friends come over (as usual!) and we sat around and watched a movie. Yeah, we are boring people. Bahaha!!!

From left to right Luke (Elaina's boyfriend [also Alex's cousin]), Elaina (my best friend/little sister [who is kicking Thomas]), Thomas (Alex's work friend) and Shelbers (our cute princess!). I took a nice picture after this, but I feel this one is better!

Day Seventeen

Today was ok. Went to the park with the kiddos at work. Then after work my sis came over and we bought "The Last Song" and watched it!!! I have seen it before, but she hadn't; and we both had read the book! Great girls night!

Day Sixteen

Had a lovely evening walk with Alex! It was great to just get out and stroll along the bike trail! The weather was beautiful and so peaceful!

Day Fifteen

Alex took a bike ride this morning with his parents, and then we both went together while I took his cousin's senior pictures. It was tons of fun!!!

Then we went to the farm for a little bit, then over to my little sissy's house. We sat and talked and laughed so hard!!! It was a great time :)

Day Fourteen

There was a chalk drawing competition today in town. We went down there tonight after going to see a movie, but sadly it started raining so I only got a picture of a few of them before the rain completely consumed everything. Here are a few of my favorites!

Day Thirteen

Today was a great day! This week seems to get better by the day! I got to spend the morning with Alex because he didn't have to go into work. Then work was great! And after work Elaina and Luke came over and we went to the mall. I showed Alex the rings, but of course, Mr. Picky didn't like them because they were too thick. But then I was looking at rings and he was like, just try that one on (the one I really liked). Needless to say we ended up coming home with it! Bahahaha!!!! But when we came out of the mall, it had like down poured and the parking lot was flooded!

I absolutely LOVE it!!! My other ring was great, and I will miss it for sure! But I really love this ring too and I will be getting the band off of my other ring to put with this one. They had to send it in to get it detached. Then I am not sure if I am going to get it soldered to this ring or not.

Day Twelve

It was a foggy, yet beautiful day again today!!! I went back down to the river where we were last night to take some more pictures this morning. The water was already down six inches, but with a storm coming in tonight, I am sure it will go back up again! Well, here are my pictures of the day!

I have a dozen pictures of this butterfly! I got as close as I wanted and he didn't even care :)

Day Eleven

Well, I had my doctor appointment today, so I had a short day at work. After that I went shopping with my little sister and had a fun time at the mall! We ended up in a jewelry store and were trying on all sorts of things just for the heck of it! And then I started looking at rings for Alex. Since I have my new set, he needs his new ring. And he is VERY picky when it comes to rings. But I found this one, and I really hope he likes it because I would love to get it for him!

Then after the mall we went to Dairy Queen and bought an ice cream cake just for the heck of it and she was making fun of me while we were in the drive through! Bahahaha!!!

Well, we came back home and waited for her boyfriend (who happens to be Alex's cousin!) to come over after work and then we each had a huge piece of it!

Then after our ice cream cake, we went down to the river to see how high it has gotten! It rained a LOT last night (has the past couple weeks too) and it is ten feet above the normal level! Its so crazy!!!

That is a side walk! I definitely wont be walking it anytime soon!
